Brandon was very fortunate to have met Robin Fujii from Southern California Chapter. They worked together for many years supporting the APCA Scholarship Program. Robin is a very well respected leader and supporter of APCA even in his retirement.

Please join us in congratulating all of the honorees at this year's APCA National Banquet that was held in Chicago, IL. The banquet is special this year because one of our chapter officers and executive board member, Brandon Duong, was honored at the event with the APCA National Outstanding Member Award for his leadership and contributions to APCA. He is the very first member from Washington State to be nominated and recognized out of 5000+ APCA members nationwide. This year’s APCA National Banquet recognized and honored three amazing recipients. - Corporate Leadership Award: Mike Coffey, President-In-Flight-Connectivity - Outstanding Member Award: Brandon Duong, Sr. Technical Architect – Mobility & Home Solutions IT - Community Leadership Award: Lakhi Siap, Co-Founder of Ascene Chicago The evening's program also revealed that the Chapter of the Year Award was awarded to the APCA Northern California Chapter. The Northern California delegation was there to proudly receive the $500 check for their chapter. The banquet was also a way for APCA to fundraise for the National APCA Scholarship Program. Many APCA chapters, companies, AT&T organizations and people signed up to be sponsors of the event through their donations. Silent and live auctions were conducted during the event showcasing devices and tablets. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for APCA members and friends to meet and to re-connect.
